Kraken Skulls!

Players take the role of pirate captains racing to become the most feared on the high seas by earning Dread through battles and bold actions. Movement is simultaneous and hidden, resolving encounters that can pit players against each other, the Navy, or the Kraken. Treasure acquired from pillaging or digging is spent to upgrade ships and add dice, which determine outcomes in a variety of dice-driven minigames. The game emphasizes tactical positioning, risk management, and combat resolution via dice. Play ends when a player reaches the required Dread to be declared ruler of the seas.
