Rumors spread that the kingdom’s magician is losing his lucidity. After answering royal summons with incomprehensible letters, he is declared useless, and a concerned noble travels to his tower with a trusted group to investigate. The party must determine what has happened to the powerful mage and face whatever dangers may accompany his apparent madness.
