Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying Game Beta Rules

Players take on the roles of samurai serving Rokugan’s Great Clans as warriors, courtiers, priests, or monks. Their adventures involve intrigue, conflict, romance, horror, and the demands of honor, loyalty, and Bushidō, as they choose between personal desires and social duty. Character creation uses skills, techniques, advantages, and disadvantages to define each samurai. Custom dice determine success, its degree, and the consequences, allowing each roll to shape the unfolding story across the feudal Emerald Empire.
