Life is a Lonely Business

A standalone encounter for five 15th- to 17th-level adventurers. A cleric seeking to solve the puzzle of life and death breaches the boundary of the Shadowfell, releasing ravenous wraiths and restless ghosts. Players battle the spirits in both the living realm and the Shadowfell, shifting between the two planes during combat.
