Replaces a specific decree card with a variant that alters late-game options. When this card appears, players lose the ability to take new decree cards, shifting the available actions for the remainder of the game. The variant ties into a historical regency theme: a change in royal authority changes political power and removes one avenue of influence. Players must adapt their strategies to the reduced decree options and plan ahead for endgame scoring and resource use.
