Love Letter: The Hobbit – The Battle of the Five Armies

Players compete in short rounds of risk, deduction, and luck using a small shared deck of character cards ranked by value. Each round begins with one card dealt to each player and one removed from play; on a turn a player draws and plays a card, resolving its power to peek at, compare, or eliminate other players’ cards. The last active player or the player holding the highest-valued card when the deck empties scores a point. Certain cards have special interactions—one card is inert during play but counts as a high value at scoring, and two elf cards permit asymmetric compare effects that target either the higher- or lower-valued opponent. The first player to reach the required number of round wins for the player count wins the match.
