Microfronts

A compact framework for preparing short, immediate threats during a campaign. Each microfront includes a description, danger, grim portents, impending doom, and optionally a custom move, item, or monster, with events designed to resolve in a single scene. Microfronts can be used as interludes between larger story arcs or expanded into full fronts when events develop further. They may also be placed in envelopes marked with fictional triggers, allowing players to decide if and when to activate them.
