A rules-light fantasy roleplaying game inspired by the Basic and Expert editions of early 1980s fantasy gaming. Players create characters by rolling four attributes, choosing from classic classes such as Fighter, Magic-User, Cleric, Thief, Dwarf, Elf, and Halfling, and selecting an alignment or optional background. Two rules sets support simpler or more detailed play. The system includes fast combat, spells, monsters, treasure, hirelings, morale, strongholds, magic research, and optional rules for character traits, psionics, divine intervention, and more. The illustrated rulebook also provides examples of play, Game Master advice, random tables, and compatibility with many B/X and BECMI-based games and adventures.
