Never Bring a Knife

Never Bring a Knife is a board game for 4–8 players. It plays in 20–30 minutes and is meant for ages 17 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 6.

During a heist gone wrong, undercover cops and hardened criminals face off in a shootout while their identities remain uncertain. Each player knows their own role and the role of the player to their left. In each round, players play and receive cards representing guns, armor, money, crime, and intel. Cards are placed face-up or face-down according to three rules, then revealed to determine who was shot, wounded, paid, or gained information. Money can be spent to treat wounds or investigate roles. When a player takes three wounds, they fall; their entire team loses, and the opposing team wins.
