Never Going Home

A World War I role-playing game set on the Somme, where the veil between the battlefield and a realm of supernatural beings has been breached. Players create soldiers, join their fellow survivors, confront monstrous enemies, and resist the corrupting influence of mysterious Whispers. Characters roll dice based on their skills and manipulate results through attributes that also represent their health. Whispers and rituals provide powerful abilities but increase the risk of failure and corruption. Playing cards represent memories of humanity and can be sacrificed to survive missions, protect allies, power rituals, or gain new skills and dark powers.
