Four mercenaries navigate a fantastic, dark Italian Renaissance during the war between Rome and Venice. Players each control a hero with distinct roles, advancing through classes, skills, and equipment as the campaign unfolds. Gameplay is cooperative and tactical: turn-based battles on a grid pit the party against enemies governed by an AI system. Scenarios present meaningful choices that alter story beats and future encounters, blending historical figures with mythical elements. The game progresses through a linked campaign where character development and scenario outcomes shape the unfolding narrative.
