Octopus' Garden: Crown of Thorns

A promotional expansion adds four Crown of Thorns tiles to the tile pool. Each is planted as a normal tile with its sandy side facing up. During the Move Sea Stars step, a sandy Crown of Thorns moves toward the nearest Coral using normal Sea Star movement. If it ends on a Coral tile, flip it to its Coral side. A Crown of Thorns on its Coral side discards the Coral tile and flips back to its sandy side. It does not eat Oysters, but affects the Feather Worm like a Sea Star.
