Ostia: Pirates

Players run a fleet based at a major Roman port in 103 AD, renting ships to merchants and aristocrats to move supplies across the empire. Venturing beyond the Mediterranean introduces pirate threats that must be countered by recruiting soldiers and acquiring weapons, and by clearing hazards that impede trade routes. Players develop trade lanes, balance risk versus reward, and collect income from successful shipments to expand their business.
