Raiders of the Deep: U-boats of the Great War, 1914-18

Command a World War I German U-boat and conduct patrols against Entente shipping and warships. Players resolve turn-by-turn encounters with individual merchantmen, convoys, Q-ships and aircraft, choosing tactics such as surface night attacks, submerged torpedo runs, or stalking targets to conserve ammunition. Crew quality, awards and commander rank evolve over the campaign while survival odds decline as the war progresses. Gameplay emphasizes decision-making about engagement range, risk versus reward, and resource management as players try to sink tonnage and return home.
