Railroad Ink: Archipelago Boards Set

A modular player board divided into four 4×4 island grids where players draw and connect routes across island tiles and bridge spaces. Players place route pieces to link roads and railways, use bridge spaces to connect neighboring islands, and score for continuous networks. A new special-building space, the Warehouse, lets players store route segments for later placement and strategy.

أسئلة القواعد

إجابات من كتيّب القواعد يقدمها مساعد القواعد في Ludoya.

Do I have to draw all my routes on the same island each round?

Yes. All routes drawn from that round’s basic Route dice must go on one island, but Special Routes, Expansion-die routes, and routes gained through a Special Building may go on any island (p. 1).

How do I build a bridge between islands, and does it cost me a route?

A Bridge is built automatically when you draw a Highway or Railway route connected to an empty Bridge space; then draw a free route of the matching type on the Bridge space. Each end of a built Bridge that connects to no other route counts as an Error (p. 1).

When can I use a Warehouse, and can I save a route and use it in the same round?

Activate one by drawing a route with at least one Railway and/or Highway in its space; this unlocks a Warehouse space. You may store basic routes there and use a stored route at any point in a round, including the round you stored it; mark the space off after using it (p. 2).

Can I store Special Routes in a Warehouse?

No. Warehouse spaces can store only basic Routes, not Special Routes or similar routes; however, extra Routes gained by activating a Factory may be saved for later (p. 2).

Can my Longest Route continue across different islands?

Yes, it can pass between islands over Bridges. Count each Bridge space as one Route space when calculating its length (p. 2).

How many rounds do we play, and what if we use an expansion that shortens the game?

The Archipelago game lasts 10 rounds. If an Expansion reduces the round count, play 8 rounds instead; Lava, Meteor, Tentacle, and Power Grid are incompatible with this board (pp. 1, 4).
