Rapid Fire!: Ruweisat Ridge – Auchinleck Stops Rommel

This historical miniatures wargame covers the July 1942 battles around Ruweisat Ridge, as British forces regroup at El Alamein to block the Axis advance toward Egypt and the Suez Canal. Players command the understrength British 1st Armoured Division and improvised Robcol mobile column, or the veteran German 21st Panzer Division, using 400-point and 200-point forces with optional additions. The set includes a Ruweisat Ridge scenario with historical background, special rules and a battle map, plus a bonus scenario covering the preceding action at Deir el Shein. Fifteen photographs of model vehicles, guns and figures provide modelling and painting reference.
