River Wild

Players build a river landscape by placing river cards below a fixed source, extending the watercourse downstream and filling the lands alongside it. Each turn, choose one of three visible river cards, flip it if desired, and add it to the tableau; refill the display and repeat until no plays remain or all cards are placed. Valley areas fully enclosed by river or mountains with no gaps count as protected; only protected valleys score. Protected valleys score for contained wildlife types (dragons, jackalopes, toads, unicorns) and for meeting objective tiles, encouraging pattern matching and spatial planning to maximize points.
