Runebound: Midnight

This expansion brings the dark fantasy setting of Midnight to the Runebound system. Heroes join forces to oppose a Night King, controlled by another player, who sends challenges, influences battles, and manipulates environmental effects across the board. The heroes must infiltrate strongholds and destroy black mirrors, the source of the dark god Izrador’s power. Escapes and knockouts can raise the threat level, and when it reaches 10, the Night King unleashes his forces across Eredane. The expansion replaces the original map and characters and requires the Runebound second edition base game.
