Shrines

A collection of tables and prompts for adding distinctive shrines to towns and cities in a fantasy campaign. Entries cover a shrine’s appearance and characteristics, features associated with the worshipped deity’s domains, sacrifices suited to different faiths, and events or festivals. Twenty shrine-based NPCs provide additional characters for encounters. The material supports both preparation and on-the-fly use by the GM.
