So Long, My World

Players experience the last hours of humanity through a psychological, narrative card game that explores memory, identity and mortality. In solo play, the player unlocks and protects Vision cards—memories and thoughts—while cognitive disruption re-locks them each turn; scenarios provide unique setups, conditions and multiple possible endings that yield Words, which grant powers and open new scenarios. In multiplayer, players draft Vision cards to collect Feeling tokens and play Remnant cards from their hands to alter opponents’ perceptions, hearts or time, using resources to pursue personal revelations or obstruct others. The game frames philosophical questions about selfhood, memory and meaning within its dreamlike, procedural mechanics.
