Sovereign: Shōgun – Inori Expansion

This expansion adds Shinto, Buddhism, and Christianity to the struggle for Japan, introducing religion as a new source of influence, alliances, and abilities. A Religion board, religious buildings, faith tokens, new Daimyō cards, and religion-specific abilities give Temples a greater role across the map. Players can change their beliefs over the course of the game, gaining new options while affecting the balance of power. If one religion spreads far enough, its followers may share a team-based victory, with one player becoming the major winner. Religion can therefore unite rivals, reshape alliances, and create new strategic tensions alongside the existing fight for land, prestige, and glory.
