Sword & Fire Manila

A Historical Advanced Squad Leader module that recreates the month-long American campaign to seize control of Manila from Japanese defenders in early 1945. Players command mixed US assault forces and heterogeneous Japanese defenders—veteran Marines and Army units alongside naval personnel and conscripts—fighting block-by-block for streets, gardens, courtyards and the walled Intramuros district. The game introduces city-specific terrain rules (multi-material, adobe and steel-walled buildings, stone monuments, bomb craters, and detailed Intramuros features) and includes 25 scenarios plus five linked campaign games played across six map sheets.
