Tales of Nine: La Montagne Noire

A lone paladin ventures into the Black Mountain across three chapters, seeking the Sceptre of the Ancients in the ruined dwarf city of Dugrimmar. This narrative puzzle game for one player involves exploring locations, fighting monsters, collecting treasure, and gaining experience. Each turn consists of moving the Hero card and paying its entry cost, moving monsters closer, then resolving the adventure area. Players must plan their movements and use card effects to reach the Exit card and place it in the backpack. An Infinite mode allows consecutive games with score tracking.
