The Charlatans

Players take the roles of traveling con artists who set up stalls at fairs and markets to swindle gullible customers. Each round, players draft and play action cards to assemble tricks, manage resources, and attract different types of visitors to their stall. Tricks require specific combinations of cards and often interact with opponents’ stalls, leading to tactical choices about timing and risk. Scoring comes from successfully performing cons and from special bonuses tied to customers and market conditions.
