The Defence of Procyon III

Humans and an alien civilization clash across orbital and surface theaters around a recently colonized extrasolar world. Players split into two asymmetric teams: one controls the alien space fleet and ground assault, the other commands the human armada and planetary defenses. Gameplay runs over a fixed number of turns on separate maps — a hex-based space board and a point-to-point ground board — using card-driven actions and low-randomness resolution. Each side’s two players manage different mechanics and must coordinate to cover openings while executing naval and ground operations. An automated opponent enables solo or cooperative play against one side.
