This boxed edition collects the original tactical combat microgames and their expanded roleplaying rules into a single, updated core volume, plus adventures and play aids. Players create warriors and wizards, build characters on included pads, and resolve one-on-one skirmishes or party-based dungeon explorations using hex-based movement and a streamlined combat system. The set includes two solo challenge adventures and a classic dungeon-crawl module with a full-color labyrinth map, along with regional and village maps, GM screen, reference booklets, die-cut megahex sheets, and character/reference sheets to support both duel-focused and campaign-style play.
