The Festival Experience

A festival setting for fantasy roleplaying campaigns, designed to fill a session when the full group is unavailable or to provide a break from the main adventure. It outlines festival activities, vendors, performers, and other characters that can be adapted into a one-shot or incorporated into an ongoing campaign. The setting contains no fixed adventure, but offers opportunities for encounters, rumors, hidden foes, and clues leading to sought-after items. It was created for 1st/2nd Edition AD&D and can be adapted to other systems and character levels.
