The Travellers arrive in Rakken-Goll, a remote cattle town, after receiving an invitation from the young noble Sir Willard Vorstaten. What begins as a chance to rest and cultivate a useful contact becomes a struggle to save the town. Fire, flood, and feuding threaten Rakken-Goll’s economy and survival.
