Players take on a team of heroes defending a besieged coastal city from a Corsair fleet, resolving ship-to-ship combat and shore-based threats while protecting citizens. This nightmare expansion replaces specific encounter cards with 20 tougher alternatives, adds two new objective cards, and forces a random choice among six possible objectives at setup, increasing enemy ships and time pressure. It integrates into an existing cooperative card-game campaign and requires the base game and related expansions to play.
