The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Treachery of Rhudaur

A 20-card encounter deck insert designed to increase the difficulty of a specific scenario from the associated Adventure pack. Players replace designated encounter cards in the scenario’s encounter deck with these cards to create a Nightmare-level version of the scenario. The insert alters encounter composition and adds more challenging card effects, forcing players to adapt their strategies and resource use as they resolve questing, combat, and threat management under tougher conditions.
