The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Temple of the Deceived

Players control a fellowship of heroes exploring a remote island of mountains, jungles, and ancient ruins in a scenario driven by search and survival. The campaign sends heroes ashore with a key to a long-locked chest and tasks them with locating it while managing natural hazards and encounters with cursed dead. The set adds a new Leadership hero and a suite of player cards across three copies of nine designs, and uses scenario-specific mechanics to push exploration, questing, and combat against escalating threats. Play focuses on deckbuilding with the new cards, map exploration via encounter decks, and tactical card play to overcome location dangers and undead adversaries.
