The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Wastes of Eriador

Players take on the roles of heroes and Dúnedain rangers tracking enemies across the northern wilds of Middle-earth. The scenario begins as a rescue mission for a captured Ranger and shifts into a pursuit that leads the group deeper into Angmar’s hills, where increasing threats and perilous terrain challenge the party. Gameplay uses cooperative, card-driven mechanics: players build and play decks of allies, events, and attachments, manage resources and threat levels, and resolve questing, combat, and encounter card effects. The scenario escalates with night-time and wilderness hazards, forcing players to balance quest progress with defending against ambushes and regional foes.
