The Lost People

A level 2–4 Shadowdark adventure set in the ruins of the ancient Scarabakki, an insectoid people rumored to have discovered a path to godhood. Characters explore a newly uncovered Synomonet entrance, decipher puzzles, and seek forbidden knowledge and treasure while confronting cruel experiments involving flesh, light, sound, and scent. Designed for 2–4 sessions, the adventure includes detailed maps, new ancestries, monsters, magic items, spells, and reference tools. Body horror and mutilation are prominent themes.
