The Midlands Low Magic Sandbox Setting

A low-magic medieval fantasy setting centered on six isolated, walled cities surrounded by a vast and dangerous wilderness. Distant gods offer no obvious miracles, while rare sorcery carries inherent risks and ancient ruins conceal lost treasures and forgotten secrets. The setting also provides a toolkit for running a flexible, low-preparation sandbox. Tables, generators, and fifty adaptable Adventure Frameworks help establish encounters, locations, and conflicts that can develop in response to player choices. It is written for the Low Fantasy Gaming RPG system but can be adapted to other fantasy roleplaying games.
