The Perils of Ophelia

This Dungeons & Dragons adventure begins at a familiar inn in a major city, where the heroes are hired to protect a nobleman and his niece during a bitter family feud. While searching for a lost cleric’s diary, they contend with mercenaries, street gangs, cultists, undead, assassins, and the city watch, as well as the cursed Aran’than people and Ophelia’s hidden problem. The adventure includes ten encounters, six roleplaying nodes, and ten random encounters. A result-based structure allows the story to continue after failed encounters, with several possible conclusions shaped by the party’s actions. Adjustable encounter groups support four to six characters from 4th to 8th level, while the Stone Bard Inn dossier and reusable city encounters support further adventures.
