The Saltlands of Qoz

This hex-crawl adventure places a party in Qoz, a cracked salt wasteland shaped by forgotten apocalypses, fossilized magical empires, and malfunctioning god-engines. Players cross salt dunes, crystal jungles, and brine-soaked ruins while scavenging water, investigating ancient techno-magic, and negotiating with factions such as water barons, aquifer cults, and mutation-born revolutionaries. At the center of the region, the Heart-Well, an ancient terraforming engine, has begun to awaken. The adventure includes hydration and dehydration rules, saltstorm hazards, new monsters and magic items, a Salt Shaman subclass, and modular material for levels 3–8. It can run as a standalone mini-campaign or as a detour for OSR-, 5E-, and other hexcrawl-based systems.
