This sourcebook examines the Scorpion Clan of Rokugan, presenting its hidden history, secret traditions, and web of deceit in service to the Emperor. It includes new character rules for Bayushi courtiers, Soshi shadow magic, and Shosuro actors, along with skills, techniques, advantages, disadvantages, and Scorpion ancestors. The book also details poisons, ninja, Treachery 101, a complete Fortunes and Winds set, notable relics, and excerpts from Bayushi Tangen’s treatise on treachery, deceit, and loyalty. Player and Game Master information is interspersed throughout the volume, with secret and spoiler material not separated or marked.
