Time of Crisis: The Roman Empire in Turmoil, 235-284 AD – Deluxe Edition

Roman dynasties struggle to preserve their legacies during the Empire’s turbulent third century. Players build armies, seize provinces, gain influence with the Senate, military, and people, and defend against barbarian incursions, events, and rival emperors. Cards determine the actions available each turn, while control of provinces affects how decks are improved. Players choose which cards to draw, balance deck management with hand timing, and develop a strategy focused on politics, legions, the people, or a combination of all three. The deluxe edition includes expanded deckbuilding options, additional Emperor choices, province Improvements, updated rules and components, and solo AI players.
