To the Last Man! The Great War in the West

Card-driven operational wargame that recreates the Western Front in World War I. Players alternate playing cards to activate combat, call up replacements, trigger technological or political events, and move units, with both sides participating in each combat roll. Each side manages a limited card pool that represents prewar stocks and ongoing resources; spent cards must be replenished by purchasing new ones, so planning and resource conservation determine when to launch major offensives. Scenarios cover 1914–1918 plus alternate plans and hypothetical offensives, and rules handle artillery, tanks, gas, stormtroops, cavalry, air combat, forts, reserves and events on other fronts.
