Tokaido: Crossroads

This expansion adds new locations, encounters and collectibles to the base game’s pilgrimage along the Tokaido road. Players visit cherry groves, bathhouses, calligraphy stands and hidden gambling rooms to gather souvenirs, score points and trigger special effects. New types of encounters and legendary objects introduce additional strategic choices and alternate routes, while good-luck charms and other treasures modify scoring and player interactions. Components integrate with the base game to increase variety and decision space without changing core turn structure.
