Toktong Pass: Escape from Chosin

A tactical-level wargame covering the 1st Marine Division’s retreat from the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War. Players command individual squads, weapons, guns, and tanks across frozen, mountainous terrain while fighting through Chinese attacks, repairing breaches, and capturing key hills. The system models small-unit combat with morale, melee, smoke, armor penetration, indirect fire, tank overruns, coaxial machine-guns, and separate turret movement. Vehicles use distinct armor values and facings for the turret, superstructure, lower hull, and tracks, with High Explosive and Armor Piercing ammunition. Basic rules and training maps support a quick introduction, while scenarios provide solitaire-friendly play.
