TPOC: The Politics of Cannibals

In a cannibal village, ambitious candidates compete to become the next chieftain after the chief’s death. Players build political platforms by playing cards that address issues such as religion, farming, labor, trade, cultural identity, and warfare. Tiles drawn from a bag show the tribe’s changing views, while villagers may challenge candidates or endorse the strongest position in an issue. Once the tribal council is established, the platforms are compared with the issues represented by the tiles. The player whose cards best match the tribe’s priorities wins the election—and avoids becoming the next meal.
