Transcauto - The Trans-Caucasian Theater of Operations

A Cold War World War III campaign map covering the Trans-Caucasian region between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea, including Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and parts of northeast Turkey and northwest Iran. The area is a strategically important route for Middle Eastern oil, shaped by ethnic and religious tensions, mountain ranges, and historic castles, churches, and mosques.
