Walking in Burano

Players refurbish a row of five houses along a Burano canal by drafting and placing floor cards to build three-story façades and decorate them with details like potted plants, cats, window treatments and shopfronts. Drafting more cards reduces available money, and players spend funds to play up to three cards per turn, earning scoring cards under completed houses. Tourist scoring focuses on local details visible on individual houses, while resident scoring rewards broader patterns across the street such as pedestrian counts and shop variety. Penalties apply for color mismatches, repeated neighboring colors, and boarded windows. The game ends when a player finishes their five houses and all players have equal turns; highest total wins.
