They place and expand influence across nations that differ in power, then use military units—frigates, ships of the line, infantry, and artillery—to resolve conflicts. Control over empires shifts as players build cities, deploy forces, and manipulate influence tracks, with scoring tied to dominance in the most powerful states. The game supports 2–6 players and emphasizes area influence, military engagement, and strategic positioning across a map of 18th‑century Europe.
