Alubari: A Nice Cup of Tea
Players cultivate and harvest tea estates in a Himalayan region while contributing to construction of a mountain railway from the lowland town to the summit. Workers are placed to take actions: plant and harvest tea, develop gardens, build track and towns, and process leaves into chai to temporarily boost worker abilities. Income, resources and placement opportunities depend on timing and where workers are assigned. Points come from railway contribution, towns built along the line, and the prosperity of tea gardens; the game ends when the railway is completed and the player with the highest total score wins.

Evan7,2 This game is basically Snowdonia, but a little bit more to do and a little bit more forgiving. We played with a full 5 players, and I was never lacking in an interesting move, and nobody ever got hit so hard they were totally out of contention. I think overall that's a positive, and I only really like Snowdonia at a lower player count. I could see picking up a copy of this in the future if it is cheap enough, although it has so much overlap with Snowdonia that I likely can't justify owning both, and to compare the two, this is missing the massive module collection of the snowdonia master set. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :star: Multiple plays stay interesting :star: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::star::star::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
