Dominant Species: The Card Game

In 15,000 B.C., the last ice age is ending, and six animal classes compete to adapt to a changing world. Mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, arachnids, and insects vie for dominance across terrestrial and sea biomes. Across ten rounds, players play animal and event cards to compete for biomes, control elemental resources, and suppress opposing species. Animal food-chain values determine scoring, while events provide one-time or ongoing effects. Players also advance on the Survival Track during Tundra competitions. After each biome is scored, a new competition begins; the player with the most victory points at the end wins.
