Heroes of Tenefyr

Players take the role of one of four village heroes who progress from inexperienced recruits to seasoned defenders by exploring nearby dungeons. The game is fully cooperative for 1–4 players; teams enter dungeons together, resolve simple push‑your‑luck combat against monsters, and earn loot cards that are added to each hero’s deck. A hero’s deck also represents their stamina—running out of cards forces retreat to the village to rest. Clearing dungeons yields rewards from villagers, while advancing time brings an approaching boss attack tied to the chosen difficulty. Defeating the boss ends the game in victory for all; failure results in a group loss.

When do I reshuffle my discard pile back into my deck during a dungeon?

You do not automatically reshuffle during a combat; if you run out of cards you become exhausted and can no longer contribute that combat. All players shuffle their discard piles back into their decks when you leave the Dungeon (whether voluntarily or forced). (Rulebook pp.6, 8)

How many times can I redraw my hand during the draw step?

You may discard your hand and draw a new hand as many times as you want during the draw step, but only until you run out of cards in your deck. (Rulebook p.6)

Do cards I play during combat go straight to my discard pile?

No — all cards you play stay in front of you for the rest of the combat and are only moved to the discard pile at the end of the combat. (Rulebook pp.6–7)

If we defeat an enemy and then decide to stop, what happens immediately (boss movement, shuffling)?

If you choose to stop and leave the Dungeon voluntarily, move the Boss token one step forward and then all players shuffle their discard piles back into their decks. (Rulebook pp.7–8)

A card tells me to discard two cards from my deck but I only have one — can I discard what I have?

If you cannot fully fulfill a required condition (like discarding two cards) the effect that depends on that condition won't happen, though you may still play the card and gain its basic power. (Rulebook p.10)

Do enemy continuous effects only apply on the enemy's turn or on every player's turn?

Unless stated otherwise, an enemy's effect remains active during all players' turns and updates immediately when game state changes. (Rulebook p.10)
