Terra de Castells

Players act as rival lords in the medieval borderlands, vying to control castles and expand their domains across a regional map. Each round, players collect influence from four feudal estates (Crown, Clergy, Nobility, Peasantry) and spend those resources to place administrators, fortify strongholds, connect territories, or press military claims against rivals. Gameplay mixes area control, resource management, dice-based combat, and timing-based actions; historical event cards alter conditions each century-long round. Variable setups, faction abilities, and favour cards create multiple strategic paths to the single victory condition, rewarding careful planning, defensive positioning, and opportunistic expansion.
