Worldbreakers: Advent of the Khanate

An alternate late-13th-century setting where individuals called Worldbreakers use a resource named mythium to amplify their abilities and pursue political and military goals. Two players each start with a unique Worldbreaker card and a 30-card deck. Play proceeds in rounds of alternating turns; on a turn a player takes one action such as gaining mythium, drawing, playing a card, or attacking. Cards are events (one-shot effects), followers (creatures that defend or attack), and locations (sites that can be developed through numbered stages for one-time bonuses like power or resources). Players score power by developing locations and by successful attacks; the first to reach ten power wins. Timing and resource management drive decisions about development, recruitment, and aggression.
